How an RFQ moves

Five steps, and you can see all of them

Most of a spare parts problem is not buying. It is knowing which of four similar items is the one your maintenance manual actually calls for, and being able to show it on arrival. Here is how we get there — and where your order is at every stage.

Receive

You send the list — P/N, NSN, quantity, platform and required-by date, or simply the requisition itself. We confirm receipt and flag anything ambiguous the same working day.

Source

We go out to the OEM, authorised distributor and vetted surplus network, and price each line against real availability rather than a catalogue.

Quote

We quote the P/N, NSN and revision on your requisition — not the nearest equivalent. Where an alternate or superseded number is the only route, that is written into the quotation with the reason, before you commit.

Verify

Condition, revision and certification are checked before despatch. Every line carries the document the item actually holds — FAA 8130‑3, EASA Form 1, a certificate of conformance or a mill test report — and you know which one at quotation stage.

Consolidate & deliver

A single tender can touch a dozen vendors across several states. We hold them together: one consolidated shipment out of Houston, one set of export documents, one person answering the phone.

Paperwork travels with the part

Which document a line carries depends on the item and its source. We identify it in the quotation, so an inspector is never handed a surprise.

Authorised release certificate for airworthiness-approved items.

European equivalent release, where the source holds the approval.

CoC

Manufacturer's certificate of conformance for standard and commercial items.

MILL / TEST REPORT

Techrite Trading LLC operates from Houston, Texas, registered with the Texas Secretary of State. Houston was a deliberate choice: it sits inside the Gulf freight corridor, close to the aerospace and marine supply base and to the port our consolidated shipments leave from.

We solve one problem. A fleet needs a part. The part exists somewhere in the American OEM, distributor and surplus network, under a designation that may have changed twice since the manual was printed. Finding it, proving it is the right one, and getting it out of the country correctly is the work.

We would rather lose a line than quote a part we cannot stand behind on arrival.

Our customers are government directorates and industrial operators who are judged on aircraft availability and ship readiness. That sets the standard: quote honestly, say what the lead time really is, and never let paperwork be the reason an item sits in a warehouse.
